Mildred Cox
September 18, 1921 — March 14, 2022
Mildred Cox, age 100, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 14, 2022.
Mildred’s life began on September 18, 1921 in Amity, Ohio on a farm with buckboards and horses living into the modern day. She was a member of “The Greatest Generation.”
She loved her sports teams, especially football and baseball. For her to be able to watch her great grandson play football in high school was a great achievement. Family was always her first priority.
She is preceded in death by Douglas, her husband of twenty three years, Paul, her husband of thirty three years, son Robert; grandson Bradley; sisters Donna and Ruth; brothers Charles and Florin.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Ralph) Flynn; Stepson Ronald (Joyce) Cox; sister Mabel Mills; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 12 Noon on Monday, March 21, 2022, at Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. Friends may call one hour prior to service time. Pastor Steve Bucy officiating. Burial will be at Mount Vernon Memorial Garden in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
