Mildred C. Williams, 98, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, October 17, 2017. Born in Langsville, Ohio on April 15, 1919 to the late Harold and Lulu Miller.
She retired as a secretary from Bridgestone/Firestone with over 20 years service. She was a faithful and active member of the Billow Chapter #483 OES. Akron Court #5 Order of Amaranth, and Goodyear Heights Presbyterian Church.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clifton; she leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Keith of Akron and Bill of Wayland, Ohio; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd Akron, where Billow Chapter and Akron Court #5 will conduct a services at 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Goodyear Heights Presbyterian Church, 1430 Goodyear Blvd, Akron, OH 44305 where the body will lay in state one hour before service, with The Rev Reford Nash officiating. Burial to follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
