Missy Lee Ann Moon

Lee Ann (Missy) Moon, 57, passed unexpectedly at her residence in Akron, Ohio, on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.

She is survived by her mother, Alma Ibbeson, Akron, OH; son, Jesse Moon (Nicole), Akron, OH; grandchildren, Caleb, Colton & Hailey; daughter, Sarah Moon (Zachary) of West Salem, OH; grandchildren, Jayce and Noah; daughter, Krista Moon, PA; brother, Jerry Moon, CA; sister, Rene Dye, OH, sister, Amy Debro, OH, and many nieces, nephews and good friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Moon, and sister, Barbara Moon.

Missy lived life one day at a time, one joyful memory at a time, and even one challenge at a time, but all that to say she LIVED a full life.  She accepted people where they were on their journey and loved it when people accepted her as she was. She lived life simply and in years preceding her death relied deeper and solely on the grace of God.

Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, August 27, 2023 at the Schlup-Pucak & Wilson Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd. Akron. Funeral Services will be held 4 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Dwayne Ray officiating. In leu of flowers, donations can be made to Schlup-Pucak & Wilson Funeral Home. Contributions will be greatly appreciated and will be applied toward funeral expenses.
