Nancy E. Shreiner (Unger), 87, of N. Myrtle Beach went home to be with the Lord, April 23, 2019. Born in Marlboro, Ohio on October 26, 1931 to the late Donald and Berdine (Folk) Unger.
She was a telephone operator for Ohio Bell, Florida Bell, Barberton Hospital and a local auto dealer. She loved to talk about the family trip to Florida as a teenager during WWII that her dad actually got paid for as part of his war effort. She was a 50 year Eastern Star member of the Fernleaf Chapter.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Millard (Stilt); brothers, Don Jr, James and Allan; sister, Donna; she leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Debra (David) Swope; son, Thomas (Carol) Shreiner; grandchildren, Scott (Melissa), Alex (Rachel) and Sherry Okolish; great grandchildren, Julia, Brynn, Wesley, Wyatt and Caleb; brothers, Jerry and Harry.
Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2019 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron, where Ravenna Chapter O.E.S. will hold a Star Service at 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday at the Funeral Home with Pastor Rich Ferris officiating. Burial to follow at Marlboro Cemetery.
