Nancy Weitzel was born April 5 1936 and passed away suddenly Saturday, March 1, 2014 surrounded by her family.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband George Weitzel, parents; Byron and Nellie Keith, brother; Richard Keith, sons; Randall and Gerhard Weitzel, daughter in law; Lyn Weitzel and grandson in law; Matthew Hardman, sister in laws; Herta Reisinger and Kaethe Zadell.

She is survived by sons Georg (Debbi) Weitzel, Raymon Weitzel and daughter Heidi (Ray) McIntire. grandchildren; Amber Hardman, Ashley Weitzel, Andrew (Kayla) Weitzel, Rochelle McIntire, Rachel McIntire, Hayley McIntire, Kamryn McIntire and Josh Fetzer. Great-grandchildren; Jayden, KiyLeigh, Kamari, Issaiah, & Aubray. Nieces and nephews; John (Sue) Reisinger, Bob (Pam) Reisinger, Diane Reisinger, Natasha Rocha and special niece Alexia (Kevin) Miller. Nancy had many lifelong friends that she loved dearly, they would have little get togethers throughout the year. Her best friend Sally (Gerald) Bowers were with her when she passed away sharing their love and support with Nancy, her children and grandchildren.

Nancy worked at Oneil’s drapery workroom for many years then transferred to Kaufman’s/Macy’s Warehouse when the downtown store closed. She was very active at the German American Family working many events cooking alongside the ladies. Nancy was a lifetime member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses. She enjoyed going to bible studies and fellowshipping. She loved cooking and trying different recipes for others to enjoy. Nancy had a knack of being the life of the party and making others laugh. She has shared her love and laughter with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends over the years and will greatly missed by all who loved her. There will be a great void at all events without her smile and laughter.

Calling hours at Schlup-Pucak Funeral Home Friday,  March 7, 2014 from 6:00-8:00pm. Funeral will be Saturday March 8 2014 at 10:00am. Internment at Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to help with funeral costs.
