Nelson Lewis Hart

Nelson Lewis Hart, age 62, of Canton, passed away on January 6, 2025, following a brief illness. He was born on July 24, 1962, to Lewis and Judy Hart. Nelson’s sudden departure leaves a void in the hearts of his family and friends.
Nelson was a dedicated and skilled electrician for many years, working for Ultra-Tech. His expertise and commitment to his profession earned him the respect of his employer and colleagues.
Nelson enjoyed fishing, shooting and being a volunteer firefighter. Above all, Nelson treasured time spent with his son, Patrick Nelson Hart.
Nelson is survived by his son, Patrick, of Canton; parents, Lewis and Judy Hart of Massillon; his brothers, Brad (Vickie) of North Canton, and Lauren (Lisa) of Canton. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2025, at St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church, 8697 Mudbrook St. NW Massillon, Ohio 44646, Friends may call one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society. The family appreciates the care given to Nelson by Aultman Hospital.
