Patrick P Shreffler

Patrick P. Shreffler, 69, of Akron left us to go off to a better place on September 9, 2015.

After graduating from St. Vincent's Catholic High school he joined the Air Force & translated five different languages as a Intelligence Interpreter. He retired from NAPA Auto Parts.

He was the most kind hearted person that would help anyone, no questions asked. His love for his grandchildren & family always came first followed by NASCAR racing, fishing, cars & building model cars, woodworking and fixing anything he could get his hands on. He will be missed terribly by us all but we all knew his heart would take him away someday because you see, all his life it was just to big for his body.

Preceded in death by his mother, Genevieve Shreffler; father, Paul Shreffler; and brother, Michael Shreffler. He leaves behind his daughter, Gretchen Shreffler; son, Jeffrey Shreffler; sisters, Mary Lou Frye and Paula Sands; sister-in-law, Merrilyn Shreffler and several grandchildren, nieces & nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday the 20th at the American Legion Hall, 1601 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls from 2pm to 6pm. In lieu of flowers you can send donation to The Pat Shreffler memorial fund to Falls Catholic Credit Union, 33 Graham Rd Cuyahoga Falls OH 44223.
