Penny T. McCary, 62 of Akron went home to be with the Lord, unexpectedly on May 3, 2018. Born December 29, 1955 in Cherry Point, N.C to the late Charles and Nancy Saxon.
She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Garland "Gunny" McCary of New Franklin; son, Elliot Nicholson of Akron; daughter, Angie Ann Nicholson of Akron; grandchild, Derek Nicholson of Akron; brothers, David and Charles Saxon; sisters, Charlene Mitchell, Melony and Kim; favorite pets,Tate and Brutis.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Sterner officiating. Inurnment to be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
