Phillip A. Parker, 54, of Akron passed away peacefully at home on June 12, 2014. Phillip was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on October 18, 1959. He was raised in Ocala, Florida before moving to Ohio.
Preceded in death by his mother; Phyllis Parker, brother; Robert Parker, son; Cecil Parker and mother-in-law; Marie LaRue. Phillip is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Brenda Parker, daughters; Tina (Rob) of Akron, Danielle ( Antwan) of Cleveland, sons; Coy and Cody Parker of Ocala, Florida, sisters; Robin (Rob) of Atlanta, Georgia, Sue of Akron and brother; David of Ocala, Florida. He will also be missed by his nieces; Kelly (Mark) and Sarah both of Cleveland, nephews; Chris of Ocala, Florida and Zack of Akron, grandchildren; Briana- Peanut of Akron, Ceara- Sissy Bug, Nicole- Tator (Keon) both from Yuma, Arizona (both Nicole and Keon are members of the United States Marines as Lance Corporals), Brenna- Tilly, Johnathon- Bubby (This was Phillip's Best Buddy) both of Akron and Amanda Washington, great- granddaughters; Amya- Little Bug and Aria- Tator Tot of Yuma, Arizona, adopted son; Tony(Kathy) and their children Katlyn and Anthony, special friends; Donald, Craig, Lisa, Hawk, Jean, Whoopy, Sophie and Felicia and special adopted granddaughters; Danielle Tettor, Rosalynn Glass both members of the United States Marine Corps.

Friends may call from 1-2 PM, Sunday, June 22, 2014 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd Akron, where funeral services will be held at 2 PM with Pastor Gerald Gray officiating. Burial to take place at a later date.
