Phillip H. Walters, 61, of Kent went home to be with the Lord, September 18, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Formerly of Kenmore, Phillip was born on August 31,1956 in Akron, Ohio
to the late Hedley and Emmagene (Odom) Walters.
Phillip was a retired registered nurse. He enjoyed his family, motorcycles, music, karaoke and playing Santa Claus.
Preceded in death by his brothers, Paul and Doug Walters; he leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Susan (Jones) Walters; son, Joshua; daughter, Shelly (Dan) Briggs; step-sons, James and Chris Taylor; step-daughter, Michelle Taylor; grandchildren, Austin, Eden, Emma, Paige, Alli, Eva, Ivy and Charlotte; sister, Emily Walters and many nieces and nephews; brother, Mark (Marge)
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday, September 22, 2017 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. A celebration of life will be held at 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home. THE FAMILY HAS REQUESTED NO FLOWERS BUT INSTEAD COME AND SHARE A STORY OR MEMORY OF PHILLIP.
