Ray Adkins

Ray Adkins, 77, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, June 5, 2015. Ray retired from Babcock and Wilcox after 40 years' service.

Ray loved his dogs, especially "running" with them, He also loved to hunt.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Effie Adkins; son, Patrick, he is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl; sons, Dan (Shirley), Jeff (Laurie) and Michael (Kim); grandchildren, Chad (Susan), Channon, Bubba, Cassie, Kendall (Wayne), Devin and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Steven, Lane, Luke, Liam, Kenna, Kallee, Brylee and Gavin; brother, Paul Randall (Beechie).

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2015 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron, where Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday June 9, 2015 at the Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
