Richard D Davis

On July 2, 2019 at the age of 56, Richard or Rick as he was affectionately known passed away in his home surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with an aggressive cancer.

Rick was born to Butch and Fran (Knight) Davis in Akron, Ohio. He received his masters in Fine Arts at Ashland University. He was in the buy and sell trade and an avid collector of Antiques. Rick was known for his great sense of humor and contagious laughter amongst friends.

Preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Crystal Marie Ladawn Davis, he leaves to cherish his memory his beloved step-mother, Loraine Jamison Armes; Fiancé, Lisa Bloom; very special nephew, Eddie Thorne; son, Richard Davis Jr. "Ricky"; daughter, Tina Ladawn Justice, his many loved grandchildren; sisters, Teresa Graybeal and Michelle Tigelman, many cousins especially Ken and Tami Lowers.

Friends may call from 12-2 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial to follow at East Liberty Cemetery.
