Reunited in Heaven and together again are Richard and Sarah Oseland.

Richard C Oseland, 96, passed away Friday, July 15, 2022.  He was born in Barberton, Ohio to Charles and Sadie (nee Snyder) Oseland.

He enjoyed seventy-five years of marriage to the “Love of his life”, Sarah Jane. He retired from the Ohio Brass Company in Barberton and was a US Army veteran. He enjoyed spending time with his great great grandchildren; watching them play was a highlight in his life. Grandpa Dick had a heart of gold and made people smile wherever he went. To know him was to love him. He was the type of man that made friends at the grocery store, made nurses blush with compliments and would do anything for his family. This man loved with all of his heart. He was thankful for family that supported and cared for him his last couple of years never realizing he was the role model that we followed.

Mr. Oseland is preceded in death by beloved wife, Sarah Jane, daughters and sons-in-law, Sue (Jerry) Durst, Patty (Charles) Wykoff, one brother and three sisters.  He is survived by grandson, Jim (Shanan) Painter and eleven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren, Emerson, Maverick and Bristol.

Although you can’t be

here with me. We’re truly

not apart. Until the final

breath I take you’re always

in my heart.
