Robert F. Lincks, 90, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025, in Akron, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dolores J. Lincks, who passed on May 4, 2022, at the age of 83.

Robert and Dolores shared a life filled with love and devotion to their family. They are lovingly remembered by their children: Gloria Beadle (Bruce), David Lincks (Joyanne), Cathy Strouse (Mike), and Beth Clark (Jerry Winters). Their legacy also includes eight cherished grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and sisters/sisters-in-law Virginia Parsons and Patricia Devereux.

A proud veteran, Robert served in the Army National Guard before establishing a career as a heavy machinery mechanic. Known for his remarkable mechanical skills, he could repair nearly anything with precision and care. Dolores dedicated herself to her community through roles such as secretary, president of the PTA, Girl Scout leader, and contributor to the Linus Project. She also expressed her creativity through quilting, crafting beautiful pieces that brought comfort to many.

From camping trips in their homemade camper to canoeing adventures—including a memorable seven-day journey on the lakes of Minnesota—their love for exploration enriched the lives of those around them. Family vacations to destinations like Disney World, Gettysburg, and Williamsburg were filled with laughter and togetherness.
