Rodger D Overfield
February 6, 1945 — March 17, 2014
Rodger D. Overfield, 69 of Ravenna, went home to be with the Lord March 17, 2014. He was a life resident of the area where he worked at Hartwig Transit and as a private carrier for the U.S.P.S.
Rodger loved his family, especially his grandchildren, he was a very supportive person and a great jokester.
Preceded in death by his parents; Harry Overfield and Patricia (Jachinn) Puli, one brother and one sister, he is survived by son; Rodger, daughter; Tammy(Matthew) Krause, grandchildren; Adam Bokros, Trevor and Ryan Krause and ex-wife; Donna Ovefield. He will also be missed by many other relatives.
A Memorial Service will be held 1 PM Friday, March 21, 2014 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with Rev. Chad Durfee officiating. FOR THOSE THAT WILL BE ATTENDING PLEASE MEET AT THE CEMETERY. Memorial contributions can be made to the Funeral Home to help the family with Funeral expense.
