Ross B Emery

Ross B. Emery, (94 ) passed away at his home on December 6, 2 0 18. He was a native of Akron, Ohio, the son of Ross Clark and Janet Butler Emery. He was preceded in death by his bel oved wife of 53 years, Betty Thomas Johnson Emer y , and his sons; William Ross Emery and Billy Johnson. Ross was a graduate of Garfield High S cho ol. R os s joined the navy and fought in the Pacific Rim during World War II.

Ross was also the proud father of Bill Emery (Sue ) , Starre Wells (Mike), Mike Emery (Linnea), Sheri Hunter (Jim), Greg Emery (Muriel) Billy Johnson, D o n Jo hn son (Susie). He was also a grandfather to fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

Ross was in sales for y ears and retired as office m a nager of Rex Reliable Plb. and Htg. In rec e nt years he volunteered his time at Goo d Neighbors and is a member of Uniontown United Methodi s t Church and Masonic Lod ge # 60 Canton, OH.

A memorial service will be held at Uniontown United Methodist Church o n Jan. 12 with a Masonic service at 930 a.m., follow e d by a family greeting and service at 11 a.m. with his grandson Rev. Bill Deckert presiding. There will be a luncheon at the church following the service . In lieu of flowers, donations to G ood Neighbors , 145 3 Go o dyear B lv d.
