Ruth A Bass

Ruth A. Bass, 81, of Akron passed away on December 31, 2023. She was born on August 8, 1942 in Rock Creek, West Virginia to the late William and Marilla (nee Stapleton) Staubs.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister who enjoyed to cook, sew and drink her Pepsi.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Elizabeth Staubs, William Staubs, John Staubs, Judy Hitt (Staubs), Margaret Lynn Staubs, Mary Lou Adkins (Staubs) and Peggy Wolfe (Staubs). She leaves behind her daughters, Pam Wisener and Geri (Rick) Bender; grandchildren, Brandy, Nicole (Shawn) and Cory; great grandchildren, Mya and Mckinlee; siblings, Jimmy Staubs, Rosalie Stefanko (Staubs) and Butch Staubs; sisters-in-law-, Joanne Staubs, Fran Staubs and Ruth Staubs; many nieces, nephews and Rik Chordar and Tony Wisener.
The family would like to thank Summa Hospice for the wonderful care they provided.
Friends may call from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2024 at the Schlup-Pucak & Wilson Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. A Memorial Service will be held 5 p.m. at the Funeral Home. The family will continue to celebrate Ruth’s life at the South Akron Orioles Club, 2166 Manchester Rd, Akron, Ohio 44314.
