Ruth M Elliott

Ruth Mae Elliott (nee Upchurch), 94 of Uniontown went home to be with the Lord, December 28, 2021. She was born January 26, 1927, in Akron to the late George and Emma (nee Johnson) Upchurch.

She was a member of Park United Methodist Church in Kenmore. She loved to volunteer with the Girl Scouts, the local schools and was past President of the PTA at Lawndale Elementary School. She loved gardening, cooking, baking and most of all her family.

Preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Bud; son; two brothers; one sister; one grandson and one great grandson; she leaves behind her daughters, Diane (Ron) Fritz, Nancy, Gail (Ed) Small and Rebecca (Jim) Dilbeck; ten grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and private burial will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
