SaraJane Cullison, formerly of Akron Ohio, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014 at the age of 87 in Murfreesboro TN. SaraJane was born July 2, 1927 in Akron Ohio to the late William and Novella Coleman. She graduated from North High School in 1945 and was married to Donald Cullison in 1952.

She retired from the USPS in 1992. One of her greatest accomplishments during her career was representing the United States at the International Stamp Exhibition in Lausanne Switzerland for the 1988 Summer Olympics. SaraJane was a 69 year member of The Order of the Eastern Star and had dedicated over 30 years’ service in Rainbow Girls. She was an active member of Firestone Park UMC until she relocated to Murfreesboro TN in 2010 where she became a member of Trinity UMC.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Donald Cullison of Murfreesboro TN. She is also survived by children Judith Ann (Francis Desales) Cullison Hennessy of Murfreesboro TN, and William Ernest (Brenda) Cullison of North Canton Ohio. She also leaves grandchildren Amber Yvonne (Aaron) Schmuhl of Murfreesboro TNand Jennifer Lyn Cullison of Des Moines, Iowa as well as great grandchildren Isabella Marie, Chloe Elizabeth and Alice Yvonne Schmuhl of Murfreesboro TN.

She was preceded in death by her sister Ruthann Correia of Wadsworth Ohio andbrother Thomas Coleman of Shreve Ohio and dog Lola.

Visitation will be Friday, December 12, 2014 at the Schlup- Pucak Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. The funeral will be Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Schlup-Pucak Funeral Home at 10:00 am with burial at the Greenlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Francis DeSales Hennessy III officiating. Pallbearers are Grandchildren, Amber and Aaron Schmuhl and Jennifer Cullison as well as nephews James Cullison, Thomas Cullison and great niece Emily Cullison Riedel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Yusef Khan Grotto.
