Sharon A Wandling

Sharon A. Wandling, 80, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, May 28, 2023. She was born in Fairmont, West Virginia on November 9, 1942 to the late Clarence and Mary (nee Heston) Linn.

She was a graduate of Fairmont High School, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Sharon was a friend to everyone and wasn’t afraid to speak her mind. She enjoyed gambling and going on cruises.

She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, William; son, Michael; brothers, James, Bobby and Pat; sister; Sandy. She leaves behind her son, William (Rene); daughters, Traci (Edward) Peltz, Jodi (Robbie) Holderbaum; brother, Billy (Kay) Linn; sisters, Betty and Jackie; grandchildren, Brittani (Kevin) Breehl, Erik Peltz, Dylan Wandling, Austin Wandling, Noah Wandling, Sara (Trevor) Burkhart, Andi Holderbaum and Jack Holderbaum; great grandchildren, Frankie Grace, Jack and Emmitt.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Thursday June 1, 2023 at the Schlup-Pucak $ Wilson Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. A Memorial Service will be held 7 p.m. with Rev. Mike Freeman officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Fidos Companions, P.O. Box 518 Avon, Ohio 44001.
