Shaun G Brady

Shaun Gregory Brady, 58, passed away April 19, 2022, after a long battle with cancer.

He is preceded in death his by parents, William and Betty (nee Dow) Brady and brother, Kerry Brady.

He is survived by his fiancée, Terri East of Cuyahoga Falls; brother, Douglas (Karyn) of Chardon, sister, Kathleen (Roy) Raber of Cuyahoga Falls; nephew, Mychal; niece, Madison; and brother-in-law, Christopher Hofer-Brady of Cuyahoga Falls.

Shaun graduated from Kent Roosevelt High School and was formerly a long-time employee of Schwebel’s Bakery in Cuyahoga Falls. Shaun was a hard- worker with a kind heart, always willing to lend a hand.

Shaun may not have always been the life of the party but certainly brought life to every party. His keen observational skills and quick wit enabled him to see the humor in most situations. Shaun loved being outdoors, camping, weight training and animals of all kinds. He owned many dogs over the years. His dogs Sheba, Cheyenne, and Mariah brought him great comfort, especially over the last several months.

Shaun was never materialistic and genuinely enjoyed just relaxing and joking with friends. His greatest treasure was his love and 16 year friendship with fiancée, Terri East. Their mutual sacrificial care provided courage and laughs to life's challenges.

Shaun found great strength and comfort from the many prayers offered on his behalf. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital for their amazing care.
