Tammy L Riffle

Tammy L. Riffle, 61, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, on April 15, 2023 after a long illness. She was born October 28, 1961 in Akron, Ohio to the late Adrian and Joann ( née Hall).

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Timmy and Curtis Riffle; grandparents, Ilene and Merle Carpenter; aunt, Carol Bower and uncle, Clifford Carpenter. She leaves behind her son, Kevin (Brynn) Riffle; sisters, Saunia Bracey and Laurel (Paul) Barber; brothers, David and Eddie (Bert) Barber; grandchildren, Jocelynn, Gia, Tessa, Sasha, Lina and Ryder; nieces and nephews, Celissa (Tyrone), Justin (Andrea), Jolene (Ryan), Eddie Jr. and Nicole plus many great nieces and nephews; cousin, Lisa Kelp (Robin); special friends, Terri Collins, Cheryl Hinebaugh and Lori Bracey.

Death is but a passing from darkness into light. I awaken from my sleep and beheld a glorious sight. It’s a beautiful day in Heaven. Love is everywhere. Peace and comfort surround me. No place on earth can compare. I could never begin to describe the wonders things I see. If you could glimpse of heaven, you’d shed no tears for me. Keep my memory in your heart. Time will pass and then, one beautiful day in heaven, we’ll be together again.

A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2023 at the Schlup-Pucak & Wilson Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron with Pastor Aidan Finn officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to service time.
