Thomas D Keim
June 26, 1934 — December 20, 2017
Thomas D Keim, 83, of Jackson Township went home to be with Jesus and his beloved wife Barbara on December 20th, 2017 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. Born on June 26, 1934 to his parents Claude and Elizabeth (Reichard) Keim who preceded him in death.
He worked for Timken and Sugardale for over 30 years before he opened a Kraus’ Pizza in Hartville with his wife Barbara. He was a devout Catholic and loved gardening and being at home with his family.
Preceded in death by his brothers, “June” (Freddie) Keim, Bob (Ann) Keim; sister, Pat (John) Slish; and daughter in law Jill Keim. He leaves behind his children Tom (Shari), Craig, Mark, Lynne, and Paul (Jeannine) Keim; grandchildren, Stefan, Aimee, Kaydee, Christopher, Ashley, Bryanna, Logan, and Isabella; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Savannah, Addison and Olivia in addition to many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank St. Luke’s of North Canton and Great Lakes Caring Hospice for the loving care they provided for Thomas.
Friends may call from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 3430 St Michael Dr. NW Canton, Ohio 44718 and 10-11 am Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 am Wednesday at the church. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
