Timothy L Christopher

Timothy L. Christopher, 55, of Akron, Ohio succumbed lung cancer surrounded by his loved ones March 2, 2014.

Tim's strength and spirit are survived by his partner; Patricia Seaman of 13 years, daughters; Brandy (Jason) Christopher, Amanda (Bradley) Sayre, Katie Christopher, his loving grandchildren; Hailey, Cameron, Dannica, his mother; Mary Petley, 4 siblings, his furry companion Max, and many other family members.

He was a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend to all. Tim fought his fight until his very last breath. He promised his girls that he would never stop fighting and they promised him that they wouldn't be any less proud of him if he did, if anything they'd be as proud as ever. That promise holds true.

A special thank you to Patty, his sister Sally, his life long friend Tom, and neice Jenny for taking such great care of him in his final days, along with everyone else who helped. Also, a special thank you to his son-n-law Bradley for offering support during this trying time. Tim fell but with the love and support and hands to hold of his family and friends he got back up. As devastating as it is to all the ones who love him, Tim found the strength to make his journey home. God only gives his hardest battles to his strongest soliders and Tim was the strongest by far. What defines us is not how hard we fall it's how we rise after falling.

Schlup Pucak Funeral Home is handling all the arrangememtals. A private memorial service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery and a celebration of his life dinner will be held in his honor.  In lieu of flowers please consider paying your respects by making a memorial contribution to his family to help with expenses.
