Tracy L (Ellis) Sims

Tracy L. Sims, 48, of Akron gained her wings and walked through the golden gates of heaven on August 21, 2022.

Tracy was the true definition of a hard-working American woman. She was a kind, loving, and soulful person who was friends to many. She loved dolphins with a passion and in her free time, she spent every possible moment being the best Nana to her two beautiful grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosella Ellis, her oldest grandchild, Laylani Rosella Wright; she is survived by her fiancé, the love of her life, Seth Cook who she enjoyed spending everyday with; her two children, Marcus Wright and Brianna Sims whom she devoted her life too. She loved being their mother and their best friend. There's no other person like Tracy. Also left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Crystal Mosley and Nicole Mosley, both who live in Virginia. Tracy also leaves behind her two grandchildren, Marcus Wright Jr. and Malaya Wright; many loving friends and family members. She was all the kid's favorite aunt TT. Tracy was nothing short of one in a million.

Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the Schlup-Pucak & Wilson Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron with Judge Todd McKinney officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to service time. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following services at Chestnut Ridge Park, 1926 19th St., Akron.
