Trina L Wood

"Treweezy" Trina L. Wood peacefully transitioned to glory on November 13, 2014. She was born April 23, 1958 in Akron, OH to the late Ralph E. Wood, Sr. and Virginia M. Wood.

She is also preceded in death by brother, Ralph E. Wood, Jr., nephew, William E. Wood, Jr., and lifetime friend, Freddie Jackson. She leaves to cherish her memory, her three daughters, Jasmine (Lesley), Ivery, Tasha Wood and Dominique Wood, one son, Darrnell Roper, brother, William E. Wood, Sr.(Ruth), sisters, Rebecca Smith and Mary Truitt (Jimmy), grandchildren, KayVahn Wood, Jullien Ivery and Lesley Jr., special friend, Louis Busey and a host of family, nieces, nephews and very close friends.

She loved the holidays with her family and was a wonderful cook. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She loved so many people and would give her last because of her loving heart. She was a feisty woman and knew what she wanted. She also loved her word searches and crossword puzzles. She knew the Lord Jesus Christ.

The family will receive family and friends on Saturday from 1-3 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m., located at The Schlup-Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd. in Akron. Condolences can be sent to 495 Talbot Avenue, Akron, OH 44306.
