William I Murphy

William 'Bill" Irish Murphy, 63, of Akron went to be with our Lord the night of Saturday, December 19, 2020. William was a veteran of the United States Marine's, a lifelong union electrician and an amazing father and brother.

He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Billy will be dearly missed by all.

He is survived by his two sons, Roger and Patrick Murphy both of Akron; siblings, Kimberly (Jeff) Eboch, Jody (Diana) of Norton; Jackie (Robert) King of Cadiz, Larry (Beth) Murphy of North Port, FL; step-father, Robert Hettick; step-brother, Robert Hettick Jr.

So often in life a new chapter awaits. May you ride off into the sunset and discover it's a sunrise.

A memorial service will be held 12 noon on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. Friends may call one hour prior to service time. Burial to follow with military honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, Ohio 44270.
