William L. Myers, 66, of Kent went home to be with the Lord, May 23, 2015. He was born in Indiana, Pennsylvania on August 19, 1948. Bill lived a Masonic lifestyle and loved God and family.
He loved riding motorcycles, fishing and doing "poker runs" to raise money to help others. He loved his family and grandchildren deeply. He worked as a diesel mechanic at several trucking companies and played a Clown at children's events.
He is remembered as a loving grandfather and uncle and a loving brother to Donna (Mike). He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Jr. and Royetta Myers; brother, US Marine and Vietnam Vet Frank Myers III. Bill is survived by his wife, Janet; children, Shawn (Mary), Leanne, Lisa and Kirk.
Friends may call from 4-7 pm on Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron, where Funeral Services will be held at 7 pm. Inurnment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery,10175 Rawiga Rd, Rittman, Ohio 44270 at 10:30 on Tuesday, June 9th. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS DONATIONS MAY BE MADE TO THE FUNERAL HOME TO HELP COVER FUNERAL EXPENSES.
