William C. Simmons (Uncle Bill), 69, passed away May 29

, 2016, after a well-fought battle with cancer.
Bill was born in West Virginia and lived most of his life in Kenmore, Ohio.
He is survived by his loving wife, Estelle; daughters Joyce (Stan) Kowalewski, Cathy Burkhart, Nancy (Tony) Richiutti,
Mary (Kevin) Roskos; five loving grandchildren; and sisters Wanita Stover and Mildred Ware. Bill’s family included dearly
loved nieces, nephews and so many others in Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky, where and with who he looked forward to visiting every chance he got.
Uncle Bill’s happiest times were those when surrounded by family and friends. His selflessness and willingness to help others are what we’ll remember always.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, June 2nd, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at the Schlup-Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. Funeral
Service will be held 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor Terry Passmore officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bill’s memory may be made to the Upward Sports Program at Kenmore Community Church of the Nazarene, 2025 12
