William Wandling

William "Burt" Wandling, 78, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord, May 23, 2018.
A native of West Virginia, Burt was an area resident most of his life. Burt retired from Goodyear after 42 years service.
Bill was a proud member of Victory Lodge #649 F&AM.
A loving family man, he is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon; son, William (Rene) of Manchester; daughters, Traci (Ed) Peltz of Wadsworth, Jodi (Robbie) Holderbaum of Coventry; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and sister, Janet Povenmire of Glendora, California.
Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, May 31, 2018, at the Schlup-Pucak Funeral Chapel, where Victory Lodge will conduct services at 7 p.m. followed by funeral service with Rev Mike Freeman officiating.
